![]() ![]() With the new system, the Imago (along with other strike guns and armor) can be obtained via Skeleton Keys. To be honest, though, I’d be happy even if they didn’t change anything - as long as we get to make that glorified lost and found clerk into a rocket launcher. I got my Imago Loops before the new skeleton key system, so back then, these Imago Loops were extremely rare, and when they dropped, most of the time it had a crappy roll. There are a lot of improvements to be made to what feels like one of Destiny 2‘s most archaic features. We could use more storage space, to start, but we could also use the end of blue engrams, a better stacking system for engrams in our inventory, and so on. Maybe Bungie will take a look at it in Lightfall. In all seriousness, the Postmaster is one of many quality of life issues in Destiny 2 that could use some revision. I’m just saying, we have a system for this kind of thing, and we might as well use it. Maybe it could defeat the Witness by throwing up an incredibly annoying warning message in front of him every couple of hours. Every Strike has exclusive Weapon/Armor specific to it that is available in the Strike Hoard chest at the end of the 320 Light or higher Variants. Maybe it could fire an endless stream of explosive blue engrams. What would an Exotic weapon made out of a mail robot look like? I’m not sure, exactly. ![]() ![]() Kadi-55 is a threat on multiple fronts, nearly as bad as Tess Everis (but that’s a whole other story).Īnd what do Guardians do with galaxy-threatening villains? We turn them into goddamn guns - which is exactly what we should do to the Postmaster. How many times have you heard her say “Down to The City and up again. If that weren’t enough, Kadi-55 is constantly chattering about Traveler knows what. This isn’t helped by the fact that near-useless blue engrams still drop, or by our limited Engram inventory space which means that Prime and Umbral engrams frequently end up at the Postmaster. Kills with this weapon reduce the cooldown of your grenade. Precision kills with this weapon cause the target to explode. This weapon gains improved range and handling for a short time after revival. Run a few Vanguard Operations or roam in a patrol area for a little while, and before you know it, you’ll see the dreaded warning informing you that the Postmaster is almost out of space. This weapon gains increased reload and handling when two or more enemies are in close proximity. What exactly is wrong with the Postmaster? Well, the service has a terribly low capacity, for one thing. And we must deal with it in the only way Guardians know how: by turning it into a neat gun. That all sounds fine, but the Postmaster is a menace. This “feature” collects lost loot, storing it at a mechanical frame named Kadi 55-30 for pick-up in the future. So the Imago Loop really isn't as good as some people are hoping it will be, but it still gets hyped up simply because it's based on a superbeast from year 1.Of all of the threats that Guardians have faced in Destiny 2 - vast armies, alien gods, time traveling robots - none can match the malice and cruelty of the game’s true antagonist: the Postmaster. The folks at Bungie were nice enough to throw us a bone by letting us get the Imago Loop, a hand cannon in the same archetype as the fatebringer with the possibility of rolling the exact same perks (fatebringer's perks were predetermined, as was every year 1 raid weapon.) Sounds good and all, but the problem is that with the hand cannon nerf introduced with year 2 the fatebringer is no longer as much of a beast as it used to be, even in year 1 content. (A) Things youll need for this to be most effective 1.) 2 Titans (rocking wol with illuminated) 2.) 1 Hunter (rocking nightstalker with vanishing smoke) 3. If your like me and love the fatebringer youll feel right at home. Now enter year 2, where the Fatebringer got left behind. Imago Loop has the potential to be one of the best pvp handcannons given its default range stat. It was part of the Y1 holy trinity (Fatebringer, Black Hammer, Gjallarhorn) so EVERYONE used it. I mean, seriously, absolutely nothing could hold a candle to it. Though it was nothing special in crucible, the fatebringer was THE ONLY primary to use in pve content. For those of you who don't know, nightfalls have a higher chance for their specific loot drops. It was a hand cannon obtained from the vault of glass. In year 1 there was this gun called the Fatebringer. ![]()
